Accessibility

As of: March 29, 2026

This statement applies to the publicly accessible pages of the Forensik.IT GmbH website.

Our Goal

This website is designed to be usable by as many people as possible. In particular, core content should work reliably with keyboard navigation, screen readers such as VoiceOver, and enlarged display settings.

  • Core content is reachable and operable by keyboard.
  • The website language can be switched between German and English.
  • Decorative elements are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Motion effects are reduced when reduced-motion preferences are enabled.
  • Visible focus states and skip links improve orientation.

Technical Basis

The website has been aligned technically with the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1. For web content, this standard closely follows WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Compliance Status

Based on the current internal self-assessment, the website is largely aligned with EN 301 549 v3.2.1 and WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility is reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis.

Measures Implemented

  • Semantic landmarks such as header, navigation, main and footer
  • A skip link to the main content
  • Clearly visible keyboard focus styles
  • Screen-reader-friendly labels for interactive controls
  • Reduction of decorative and animated content for assistive technologies
  • An accessibility-oriented language switch for German and English
